 Mining + Blacksmithin = Enchanting?

I have mining and blacksmithing as my specialties. I am wondering if I should make gold/silver bars for the enchanters in the guild? I believe there are other items required in order to enchant stuff? Let me know if you need me to make bars for enchanting.
